Photography has always been about the people for me. All of the relationships, emotions, and stores that deserved to be remembered.
Hi, I’m Jose, he/him, a photographer passionate about capturing the people, emotions, and stories that make every moment unique. Whether I’m photographing a graduation, family session, performance, special event, or professional headshot, my goal is to create images that feel authentic.
I know that being in front of a camera doesn’t always come naturally. That’s why I focus on creating a relaxed, welcoming experience where you can feel comfortable being yourself. The result is photography that reflects who you are, not just how you look.
My Story
Photography started as a creative outlet in High School and quickly became a passion for preserving the moments I was experiencing growing up. Being born in Mexico and a first-generation college and masters student, I knew that learning photography would allow me to share my experience with my family and the world.
My goal is simple: create authentic images that tell a story and help people remember how a moment felt, not just how it looked.
While I’m not behind the camera, I work on a college campus closely with students and campus communities. That experience has shaped my approach to photography; building relationships, making people feel comfortable, and having genuine interactions.
